07-05-13 - 07-07-13 Happy, Happy Days :)

Friday:  Today we went with a group of friends to Mitad del Mundo.  It was a first for many of us and we had a great time walking around, laughing and joking.  Here are some photos from the day:

I think they spotted us - Siga! Siga!

Afterwards, some of us went back to my house and then met up with another family for sushi dinner at Noe.

We went home that night exhausted from all the days activities - What fun!

Saturday:  This morning we went to a couple hardware stores looking for parts before going to a restaurant called The Magic Bean for breakfast.

After brunch, we went to the market to do some shopping.  Next, it was on to Crepes and Waffles for ice cream (the best in town!).  My sister-in-law wasn't feeling so well, so we went home after that so she could rest.  A friend came over to join us for dinner and a movie that night - we had lasagna, salad and chocolate almond cake and then watched a movie at my house.

Sunday:  This morning my brother and I went to the meeting (my sister-in-law was feeling worse) and then we went out to lunch for monster burgers with a group of friends from the Hall.  We further indulged in some ice cream from Crepes and Waffles before heading back to the house.  There's something about 'vacation' that causes one to throw all nutritional sense out the window.

We picked up my sister-in-law, who was feeling slightly better and searched for a store that sold bean bag chairs we had passed by the day before and also for a plumbing store.  When we got home, my brother finished installing my reverse osmosis system and fixed a pre-existing leak underneath the sink that afternoon.   Then, we changed and I wanted to take them to a different sushi place for dinner.  Unfortunately, they were closed, so we went back to Noe for a final sushi dinner.

After dinner, we went home and watched another movie before going to sleep.  The time was flying by!
